Hello, I’m Tracy!

My journey into the world of estate agency began at 32 when I joined a leading estate agency as a trainee. Over 16 wonderful years, I worked my way up to Assistant Area Manager, but my heart has always been in connecting directly with you, my clients. That’s where I can make a real difference, ensuring you receive the highest standard of personalised service.

I spent some time in the lettings sector, where I quickly moved from Branch Manager to Assistant Area Manager after completing my ARLA Propertymark exams. Yet, my true calling was to create something of my own. So, in 2016, I took the leap and launched Tracy Thorne Estates, covering Bexleyheath and the surrounding areas.

I’m proud to say we offer a range of services in sales, lettings, and property management, but it’s the small, bespoke nature of our business that really defines us. We thrive on recommendations and repeat business, which speaks volumes about our commitment to you.

For me, trust between a landlord and their estate agent is key. A mum to three wonderful children and the proud owner of a delightful collection of pets, I often joke that managing a bustling household is a bit like orchestrating a property sale – both need patience, care, and a touch of humour (especially as I navigate through my second divorce!).

My adventure in the estate agency world started over 20 years ago. I’ve worn many hats since my days as a secretary, gaining a wealth of experience in sales, lettings, and property management. I’ve worked for large corporate chains, but nothing beats the charm and intimacy of an independent agency like ours. It’s here that I can truly connect with you – our clients and tenants.

Tracy and I go way back, having worked together at different companies before joining forces at Tracy Thorne Estates from the very beginning. This partnership has been a perfect fit for my honest and hardworking ethos. Hi, I’m Lauren!

Since joining my mum, Tracy, in the family business back in 2017, I’ve been immersed in the vibrant and dynamic world of estate agency. As the go-to person for property administration, I ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes at Tracy Thorne Estates.

My role is all about the details – from registering new applicants, meticulously preparing property listings for the web, to keeping our Customer Relationship System in tip-top shape. I’m passionate about ensuring landlords and tenants experience a seamless letting process, so I handle all the administrative details with care and precision.

Though I might be a bit shy when it comes to talking about myself, my work speaks volumes. I take pride in being up-to-date with the latest property technology (proptech), which helps us stay ahead in the fast-paced property market. Organisation is my forte; whether it’s managing the nitty-gritty of our listings or keeping Tracy and Lisa’s hectic diaries in order, I’m always on top of things.

My colleagues often say I bring a quiet efficiency to our office, ensuring everything is in place for the team to provide the best possible service to our clients.
